The RAVEN is an elegant couture ballgown adorned in thousands of dyed coque feathers. These feathers are real and applied by hand and machine. Color may bleed, but washes easily off skin.
This gown is made of two separate pieces, a corset with matching floor length skirt. The corset has a separating zipper in the back and silicone elastic along the top inside. The floor length skirt has a 12" zipper up center back. Both items are made from taffeta, flat-lined with cotton fabric.
Each garment is handmade, therefore slight variations may occur.
The gown photographed was designed and created for Circus Couture's 2013 show "Possession(s)." Circus Couture is an annual event of fashion, art, music, and performance to raise awareness and funds for the children of Las Vegas fighting pediatric cancer and other diseases. It supports the Children's Specialty Center of Nevada, which provides treatment and education to all patients, whether insured or not.
A floor length bridal petticoat, which is not included in this listing, is required to complete the look. Jewelry is not included.
